Das Awscht Fescht 2012 Macungie Memorial Park

Every year on the first weekend of August one of the largest classic and antique car shows is held at Macungie Memorial park.  So far I've made it every year since I was a kid.  This weekend the weather agreed.....sort of.  Well as usual it was hot and humid and, of course it rained.

This had to be one of the cleanest mid-'70's Plymouth Valiant I've ever seen!

 Gotta love the Edsel!

This was an '84 Pontiac Fiero.  The owner seemed to be really passionate about it!

Had to shoot this one "old timey"!

This '42 Ford was the last production Ford before the plant re-tooled for the war effort.  It was purchased by the U.S. Navy and was used throughout the war to transport sailors and pilots to and from their ships while in port.

Anyone who grew up in the '80's knows this car!

 This pic needs no caption!

All in all it was a great weekend.  Had a blast.  More to come!  Stay tuned!

Cheers!
Mike
