Another Summer night walkabout

These pix are from a walkabout earlier this Summer.

I did these first pix @ Macungie Station Park around dusk.  

 I wanted to do some long exposure shots.  First I set up at an overpass looking over the Pa. Turnpike.

 Then I set up on the outskirts of town.

Summer night walkabouts

Thanks to friend, fellow photographer and overall bad influence, Chris Moy(BTW, you have great scenery up there in NYC.  And yes, I'm brushing up for the BMA ;-)  ) , I've been going out for summer night walkabouts just to brush up on my night photography skills.  Here's some of the pix I've been messing with.

Some B&W night shots.

 A half-assed attempt at a night cityscape(I live in a small town, what do you expect).

 This is Macungie Station Park.  I'm heading there again soon.
 Last night I did something I haven't done in years.  Long exposure.

 These were all taken @ ISO 50.  Shutter speed of 4 seconds.  Aperture set at 2.8.  Rested.  I like the results.
