**ARCHIVE** Annual Wheels of Time Parade

 This is something the entire town looks forward to every year.  Part of the Wheels of Time Rod & Custom Jamboree is the annual rod run.  People line up all along the parade route to check these beauties out.  You have the old-timey rods.

 The Classics!

 The Gassers!

 Trucks!

 Years ago, the club restricted a cut-off for entries to 1963 and before.  Last year they expanded to include up to 1970.

 This '69 Camaro met an untimely end!

 Not more than 5 minutes after I took the previous pic, the car fell victim to an electrical fire.

 As long as I can remember, this one has always been the caboose, signalling the end of the run.

I'm Back!!!!!

 I'm back after a little hiatus.  Last summer my home was broken into and among the things we lost were my computers and nearly two years of photography work.  Since then things have been quite crazy between that, work and life in general.  I've still been doing photography work, but it's been taking me some time to get to editing the pix.  I've been slugging ahead and have finally gotten them all finished.  Here's a preview of what I've been up to.

Now that things seem to be getting back to it's normal insanity I'll be updating more often.  I'll be doing individual posts for the bands I previewed here, as well as some other stuff.

Das Awkcht Fescht 2011

This is usually a weekend that is either blazin' hot and humid or raining.  Well, today it wasn't so hot, but it was humid, and guess what, it rained!  At least it wasn't a total wash-out.  I got to walk around the car show and take some pix before getting soaked!
For some odd reason, I love the looks of a '58 Edsel!

 I snapped this one for my old man.  He had a '59 Plymouth Fury before I was born.

Most of the cars bugged out by the time it started raining heavy.  No matter, I still got to wander about.  Enjoy!

Ric Toole Band @ Macungie V.F.W. Tiki Bar 7/16/2011

It was great outdoor summer gig!  The weather was perfect.  The band rocked!  Despite some mishaps(on my end, not the band's), it was awesome!

Chris Keating on vocals.  

 Ric Toole, as always, is amazing on guitar!

 Sound and light by Sam and Jerry.  Well, Jerry didn't provide the light this time, but I love his work!

Southern Rock at it's finest!  Another must-see band here in the Lehigh Valley!
